To support the publication of the IFoA’s thematic review report Actuaries using data science and artificial intelligence techniques, we are hosting a webinar to explore the key findings. Join the report’s author Alan Marshall, IFoA Review Actuary, who will discuss the involvement of actuaries in data science work and key areas of potential risk. He will be joined by IFoA Senior Review Actuary David Gordon and IFoA Regulatory Board Chair Neil Buckley. The IFoA carries out regular thematic reviews of how work is carried out in practice by actuaries. This review considers various case studies where actuaries are applying or looking to apply their skills in data science and AI. It also looks at the developing standards and regulatory landscape across the globe. The review report was published on 26 February on our Actuarial Monitoring Scheme publications webpage.
