This working party aims to explore the potential for external data sources (i.e. data not held by the CMI) to enhance the understanding of long-term sickness and recovery rates within national workforce population, with a view to providing insights to the modelling of income protection portfolios and wider public health dynamics.

Target audience: IFoA members, actuaries of other actuarial associations, health sector professionals such as NHS, public health and social security leaders in the UK.
